A lot of people have ran into problems with MCCulloch hids on HIDForum, so don't bag on him reguarding his post count. Also, the links of the vendors he provided sells some of the highest quality HID kits on the market.

Well not everyone has experienced problems with there product. Yes the quality mite not be as good as other company's out there but you have to look at price also. Mccullochs go for about $300 no more then $350. I've had mine for about a yr now and i have not experience any problems what so ever since the install.. In fact im happy with them althought i experience some problems in the beginning but this was not a product failure or malfunction. It was a shipping problem.

You just have to be sure when you do the install you do it right. be sure to correctly mount and change the correct fuses. even if you by the best product in the world and install it incorrectly your still going to have problems. Most problems ppls have with headlights/HID is becuase they dont do it correctly. Or touch the bulb without even knowing it. This will of course cause some problems.

This is just m 2 cents. Dont go clowning or dissing a product if you had not had the first hand experience. Yes forums have stories but just take that as a precuation and don't say they are "bad" right off the back.

think about how often you hear people complain about a product rather than saying "it's working as described" on the internet :roll:

Working at a dealership, I see thousands of dollars of warranty work done each day... AT LEXUS which has the best initial quality rating.

Either way, kenny's right. I don't know anyone that's had problems w/ the actual HID (besides the owner installing a wire wrong or other problems that aren't directly connected to the actual kit)

The biggest problem I had with my McCullochs were being pulled over :lol:
1GR-FE ftw!

10000k? Don't do it....no....

Postby bluesolara » Wed Apr 14, 2004 3:14 pm

Hello Guys

just to clear it up, all OEM HID uses 4100k, sometimes you think one brand has "bluer" headlights than another, for example...BMW usually looks a lot bluer than say...nissans. the reason is, they are using different projectors. the unique thing about projectors is that it creates a band of color, usally blue, right at the cutoff line...so different projectors have different colors...but they all use the same HID BULB...the brightest, 4100k.

hope that clear things up!

God bless

Kevin=)
