2.5 - 3 is good size, wouldn't go smaller, maybe 2.25 if your wanting to run a true dual exhaust but still then maybe a 2.25 - 2.75" also i would bump your rev limiter unless you have built internals other wise 6200 is good, with built internals you might be able to get away with 6750 it depends on a lot of factors, and also how built you go, also if your built you'll automatically have gained more hp if you did it right and went the extra mile lol, good luck

im not boosted but im running a brand new oem y pipe, 2.25 size pipe to a cat then to a oem resonator, then to a "muffler" i made from a resonator and a exhaust tip that i made 4" diesel exhaust pipe, round rod and powder coated it all, sounds pretty beefy and not like a fart can. added a bit of hp, not as many restrictions, i went as straight as possible. i do a lot of custom work.

Just purchased my OBX headers and full 3inch exhaust. Don't have it yet, but have heard good things about it.

Also if you are boosted, and plan on some day going with higher boost than stock then I would go with 3inch all the way back. Just my two cents

For duals you should go smaller than 3. I'd say no bigger than 2.5 if you are running true duals. Remember it's a small engine.
Trust me, I'm a technician.
