i think it has something to do with letting the rear suspension hang to far and the abs sensor wiring breaking or something like that. Someone else can probably explain it better

Looks good so far man. 8)

They probably didn't unplug the rear ABS sensor, that's why your ABS light is on.

So for a lil update for everyone:

Ive added 1.5 rolls of Raammat = 92+ sq ft of sound deadener.

I just got my speakers in and their really pissin me off but Ill get them in by the weekend. I spent 2.5 days installing the Raammat and I know every second was worth it. I hope everyone likes it.

Im sorry that all the pics so far have bee from my crappy 5 megapixel camera phone...

The door panels: 3 layers on the outer skin and 3 layers on the inside

So tryin to put my type r's in the front doors and the type s 6x9s are a major pain in the a**. Anyone do these and have any pointers? Do you think they will still fit in the rear if I use mdf rings?

I put my 6x9s in the rear using mdf rings... I didnt have any problems, it was just a pain taking everything apart just to get to 3 screws. What kind of pointers are you looking for.

Whats the best way to put in the rear 6x9s? I tried drilling 4 new holes for my type s's but I cant get from the bottom up because of the trunk levers and I cant get it from the top because of the rear window... How did you do the rears with mdf rings?

I made custom rings and cut them so the speaker would fit inside and screw down to the mdf. After the speaker was screwed down I drilled 3 holes to match up with the bolt pattern of the original speaker holes. The mdf was to thick so I drilled out the 3 holes a little and bolted it in. If you dont understand, I will post up a pic tonight when im back at home.

Heres another update:

my new smaller wheel gap 8):

you cant really tell but my new 6000k low beams are installed:

So far Ive got the sub box started and my new components are installed with the door panels on. My rear speakers were sent with the wrong wiring harness so I ordered a new one thats on the way. By the time that gets in I should have my sub box all done and wired. Im ready for the thump :evilbat: . The hids put out a great output and dont have much glare. Later this week Ill get some night pics for everyone.

Edit: also, if you can see I have tinted my corners for anyone that wants to see a set of tinted corners. I ran out of high gloss clearcoat while trying to finish my fogs so they arent done yet...

If you still want the pic for an example, here it is. I only have one but I think you will get the jist. With this method you dont have to make new holes in the deck.
