... BUT ... I need one piece of advice on emblem's...

So tomorrow the Emblems come off. Now I'm just stuck on which ones if not all of them, I want removed. For the trunk, I'm stuck on whether or not to leave the TOYOTA Emblem in the upper left side, and remove everything else, or just to remove it all. Lol here are photoshopped pix of w/ and w/o.
Toyota only

No emblems

Now i was thinking that i would like to add an emblem maybe... Was thinking of leaving the TOYOTA and adding this to the lower right hand corner of the trunk maybe. what you think?
Image
Or should i just strip it all and leave it nice and clean? Also, what should i do w/ the side emblems? I think i've decided on just removing those all together. Anyway, what are your guys thoughts on all this? Any suggestions? Other ideas i didn't mention?

shave all the trunk, I really dislike the "toyota" emblem, the "Solara" emblem is cool and really beautiful when the chrome is in good shape. Mine is almost new and it looks nice.

I had a "TRD" emblem but the chrome started to peel after one year, so now I have the "Solara" and the cowboy emblem.

I think the trunk looks alot cleaner with everything taken off. I wouldn't put another emblem on unless your car is SOOOO fast that you can back it up. Looking clean is good.
Without ammunition, the USAF would be just another very expensive flying club.

I like stock emblems, badges, and so forth, because they give
the car a sense of authencity as time goes by, and, for a car, it goes by
one year at a time. Before you know it, your car can be correctly
identified and appreciated by those emblems, badges, and so forth.

As for you, do what you want to do and be happy with your choice.
If someone likes it, they will tell you. If they don't, they will tell you
that as well. As old Abe Lincoln said, "you can please
some of the people some of the time, but you can't
please all the people all of the time."

The only emblems/badges I cannot tolerate are the ones with the dealership's name.
The first problem I have with those is that they always seem
to put them in the wrong places.
Secondly, I don't like being used to advertise when I am not
sharing in the profits.
Thirdly, Some times they are so lame sounding, especially if it's
a used car dealership. You may not even want anybody
to know you bought it from that place.

Off the subject, but just a thought. Jimmm

Looks good, and the TRD emblems are def a cool idea. If your going to debadge the sides as well, you might as well put the TRD logos there.

Also, the TRD emblems come in Black Chrome, those look REAL nice.

i agree with campfire, leave it shaved unless you're so fast that you can back up the badging.
