I currently have a 99 toyota solara se v6,first toyota, so have no idea what im doing,i thought i could buy it and turbo it,i then found out there are no kits for it,the s/c is $3200,and have never done a remote turbo,i understand the s/c is the best route because it is a plug n play system,stock,and would be the easiest on the engine,but I really want a turbo solara so my question is should i do the 4cyl swap then turbo that?

I think u should go for TRD Supercharge and fuel mod brother, otherwise get a Toyota Supra twin-turbo engine cause Solara are built for smooth drive not for speed, i know u can always do the modification but it is not worthy, like other said, swap or replace new engine, Google JDM used engine, i think they have, its cheaper bro.

not trying to add fuel to the fire, but if someone wants a serious answer to their question...shouldn't they at least put forth the same effort into articulating their thoughts?
