I'd still need a Spring Compressor (rent it) and jacks and jackstands and any other tools.


Speaking of which, anyone know of a good guide with pictures? Most of the ones on here that I've seen are almost all walls of text.

A big chunk of that price is having to gut out the backseat. Break out your Haynes manuel and take out your backseat, quarter panels, and rear dash yourself. Its not that difficult at all, just be patient with it. Then when you get a quote let them know what you did, and that they are able to reach the top bolts already.
When I did my Tein intall all it cost me was lunch. I used a friend of mines shop, lift, and spring press. When I was done I treated him to lunch, $10. 8)
