Gen 1.5 Blacked-Out HeadLamps?

Postby M_ABILLONES » Thu Mar 27, 2008 9:27 pm

Do you guys know anyone (or maybe someone here) that can JDM Blacked-Out my headlamps? I've seen the ones @ Ebay but I've heard some horrible reviews about the quality of those products so I decided to just get it done by someone who has experience with these type of things (I'm not very hands on so I'd rather pay someone to do it for me)...

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Mark

ANd no it doesn't really make it "JDM" since it's an OEM Toyota Headlamps....thought it would have a nice ring to it!

"JDM"

that's funny because our cars are designed and built here in the states, even though they're toyota.

so, really it would be JFM (Japanese Foreign Market), or ADM (American Domestic Market).

I'd be more than happy to do this for you for cheap. It's super easy... I've had my headlights apart several times. I'm actually finishing my HID retro now.

The problem is finding the black corners to match. Getting the OEM one apart is not worth the time.

As for my fogs I bought a set of yellow ones in Ebay...came out really nice...since my car is pearl white the yellow foglamps really makes the car stand out...the fit is perfect and no overlapping of any kind...Im running halogen bulbs there now but I will switch to 3000k hids soon to have that Lemans yellow light look!
