Accessing Rear Strut assembly Obstacle Course-Help
Well I found the tutorial and was trying to follow the DIY setup but getting lil confused so I need some directions from the crazy DIY ppl!
I'll be needing a slim flathead screwdriver, philips drivers, and the needed sockets which I got now, the socket wrench kit!
So first off, I rip the rear cushion seat off the clips and slide the seatbelt clips out of it. Then i lowered the seats down.
First Obstacle:
Umm.. is it neccessary to remove the bolts from the seatbelts?
I removed the plastic pins easily from the plastic covering.
Second Obstacle:
Need to unscrew the lil bezel clips on the rear dashboard by the rear speakers?
Third Obstacle:
Will sliding a covered thin flathead into the protective plastic on the door hinges be ok to access the screws?
Then i can just pull the panel off since the rest of it is velcro?
Fourth Obstacle:
Not sure if this is required but its in the installation diagram. Will I need to remove the upper window panel as well before I can finally get access to the final clips holding the dashboard down?
Its not neccessary to remove the rear seats is it? I kinda recalled when I was doing a DIY self-install of my alarm kit way back that I had to rip the seats out and all that. But the strut access is similar to how I did my alarm system. Just lesser panels to rip apart since I ain't messing with the entire car.
Thanks in advance!
