just a suggestion.

Anyone coming down to spectate this is a great place to meet up first before you head out to MIR. Ever since Best Buy opened up next to them Circuit City's lot has been empty.

I agree with Ray

I agree with Ray & Rizal, that is a good place to meet. As soon as he said Circut City & Best Buy and 5/301, I knew exactly where he was talking about, and it is really easy to see.

Now the next question is, what time would everyone like to meet there? I was shooting to get down there around noon, but if you all want to meet early, I will just make sure I start waking people up earlier.

Friday is my birthday, so Saturday morning might be a little rough for me.

Also, if anyone knows how to configure those remote's for a Solara, bring your knowledge cap with you.

See you all there...for the SATURDAY NIGHT FREAK SHOW@@*^&

DvSOne and I will meet in Silver Dinner in VA at 10 am, then we will roll to Circuit City to meet your guy there.

For other spectators, please try to make it to Circuit City around 10:30 - 11 am so we all could go to the track together.

Drop some lines here, please.

Btw, RayCarlo will bring a cooler and some beer. I'll bring some beer and Popeyes chicken also. You guys bring some more beer so we could have a beer party there, :drinking: :drinking: :drinking:

Fenix,
that is very irresponsible of you.....

BWHAHAHA, just kidding. I'll bring some beer too. What's the general consensus on beer brands? As long as it is made from Barley? :)

For an all day event, a light beer wil be alright, but then we'll all end up spending most of our time urinating. I say we go for Miller Light, Coors Light, Coors Original, and Budweiser.

If this is cool, I'll grab a 30 of something.

i don't care, i'll drink anything, and a light beer is a good call. about that, i remember seeing somewhere that they only allow a 6 pack per person, but i don't know if they really check, i guess we can just put it in someone's car who's getting pit parking and we can just go back for more.

pit parking

Postby bfl62581 » Fri Jun 25, 2004 10:09 am

Pit parking is the only way to go down there for beer. Is someone bringing a truck back in the pit we could throw some coolers in? Does anyone have a little hibachi or something we could grill some dogs & burgers on? I say we just take the event over as a Solaraguy drink/drunk off. Have a little bar-b-que setup, and....

Damn I just bought a nice minicooler but all I only buy bottles.

Ill buy a 6 of canned coors light and maybe some canned soda and bring it down, just in case, since the last thing I need is to get stopped up at the gate after driving down from Jersey. Im not aiming to get drunk anyways, cuz we still need to drive later.

Im diggin the grill idea, we could go tailgating.

Im aiming to get at circuit city by 11. Ill probably be hungry as hell after the long ride down though.

just checked their site and it says:

Q. Are barbecues allowed on track property?
A. No barbecues are allowed in the pit area. This includes parking lots, show areas and other common areas. This ruling comes from the St. Mary's County Fire Marshall and Wisenberg Insurance. Small hibachi type grills are permitted in certain areas (for hospitality information contact the MIR Office).
