AUGUST Roadtrip & Chicago meet

Hey all,
After some discussion on this thread, it seems like we might have a much better turn out for the Elmust Toyota show.
I'm rescheduling my vacation to coincide with this show.

It would be great opportunity to meet all of you Solaraguys and gals.

Is anybody interested? Can we make this happen?

Too bad the hooters near me closed, I used to get the waitresses to pay for my meals there...

I haven't been there for about 10 years, but according to the Hooters website, the Schaumburg store is still open.

If we can get a couple more guys (or gals) to join in, there is a forest preserve nearby. That should be a great location for pics.

Of course, I'll continue to bump this thread as a reminder. April isn't for a few more months, but I am looking forward to visiting Chicago again.

hmm if my body damage on the avalon is fixed by then I'll definitely go out there. I may feel a little left out being a pretty much stock avalon and all but hey there will be a gen 3 camry so ill feel better =P

April 11th, 2008 Roadtrip & Chicago meet

You guys planning on dusting off your flux capacitors to do this meet? Haha, j/k, I've messed up dates many a time before.

Absolutely!

Cubs tickets go on sale Feb 20th, so I'll keep my fingers crossed that I can get some.

And with all of the HUGE amounts of overtime I'm gettting and with a nice tax return AND a nice bonus from work, money should not be an issue.

I'll be in Chicago for the whole week April 12th - April 18th.

April 11th (like in the thread title) may be a little difficult for me to be there. But like I said, I'll be there the whole week. My schedule is very flexible. I can meet up with anyone at anytime.

People from MD? Well, I guess the more the merrier.

I'm just going home to Chicago to catch a Cubs game. I thought it would be nice to have a meet while I'm there. This isn't really a huge event like the Toyota show in Elmhurst in August.
I'll just be in Chicago and I'd like to meet some other Solaraguys and gals.
