I think we gotta wait for PhreakedOut to get back home and upload his shots - he's the only one I saw with a "real" camera there anyway...

Hey there Guys! I had dial-up connections over the past several days and it's been killin' me. I felt like I was in 1994 with a 26k connection. :x

I'm slowly uploading pics to Photobucket.com but it's taking 5-8 minutes a pic with high speed. Here are a few to whet the appetite.

I'm not really happy with Photobucket.com's resizing of these pics. So I apologize for the small size. (I've never had to say that before! )

To all the SoCal Peeps who were able to attend:

Thank you so much for the welcome. I didn't even know it was my "birthday!" Thanks for straightening that out Mark! LOL

I had a blast with everyone. I think dinner went well and everyone was having a good time getting to know each other. It was good to get to see you all in person. I've got to do this again! I'll try to give a bit more notice.

The rental Solara (Black Gen2 Convertible) looked like hell for the meet. It's hard to believe renters could be so hard on a car that has less than 12K miles on it. (Scratches on every body panel including hood, small burn hole in top, rough interior ...) I can't complain too much. At least it wasn't a Ford Tortoise. I now personally understand all the postings complaining about rear visibility and big blind spots.

Mike (Mole), thanks for pulling some people together! It was good to get together! Thanks to everyone who took time out to visit. (TurboSolara, good luck on your tests!) Diana, if you read this, nice red Gen2 SE Sport!!! It was good to meet ya! Jeff (Mikee7) thanks for the directions. I only got lost once. LOL  Mark, I'll work on getting more parts for ya. Nice to have a West coast distributor. LOL. JA Jeff, oh Mr. Beer God, I've met my match. I look forward to seeing that IS. One of these days, I need to stop by Longo and check out this famous dealership. (> $1B in sales. :o ) Hanatsuki, I didn't get to talk much. You and your friend seem really cool. (Nice hamsters!) I hope you didn't pull those from the engine compartment of my rental car! It might expalin the lack of power. Richard, all I can say about your ride is, daymn! You are 'da man! Next time I visit, I want a ride in that masterpiece. Kenny, the IndigoSolara is more awesome in person than over the internet. You should be proud. (Translation: Never sell that car!) Quikz, nice wheels for sale. If only I could carry them on the plane! Whatever and SpikedMantis, it was a sincere pleasure. You guys are a blast. Jeff, PXLPainter, it was good to meet another Gen2 member. Nice ride, sorry to see ya leave early. I was glad you were able to come!

Had a good time at the D&B afterwards! By your skillz, I can tell some of you spend a lot of time there! LOL. I never laughed so much at the push-coin game.

Till next time!
- Brian
