I agree let's do it again...hopefully with a better turn out and skip the museum. Just have a bbq, do some fishing in that pond, and play some ball or something. I enjoyed meeting you guys.

The weather was great! Hopefully we can use this as a grow point, as everything seemed to run very well for a first go. I think maybe we can shoot for 6 - 10 cars at the next go. I sent Tact the pictures I have, so hopefully they'll get posted up soon. I noticed that there was a Frisbee Golf course at the park. Good fun could be had doing that.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

Did anyone take pictures?

(The correct answer is A. Of course we did! We'd never think of a meet without at least one camera. )

Yeah I am fighting with my email to get them to Tact. For whatever reason they're not wanting to email :x .

I uploaded the pictures to my webspace, but not on the CarDomain yet.. I'll do that tomorrow.

Here is the link to my page, and you can go to Meets&Shows, and find the Mid-West Meet.

There are not that many pictures available...
Next time, I will make sure that i have my camera!

Pics look great! Especially your site Tact!
To all, take lots of people shots too. We like to see the members we talk to everyday.

Next time, we can hit the Cincy area and I'll promise to be there.

Bwahaha... I never take pictures of people, I guess that is one disadvantage of having me have the camera LOL. BTW Phreak, the museum was a great idea. We had alot of fun, and hope there will be at least another mini-meet somewhere in the Midwest this summer, with a little more warning.

how about start planning for end of june, or july?
i'd really love to see it happens again.

and yes, it was nice visiting USAF museum.
even tho it is like less than 30 minutes away from my house, i haven't been there for so long.

maybe next time if we have enough people, we can meet at some big park where we can drive around and photo shoot, then have cook out.
we may want to start a thread and gathering people and finding time, place and what we do.

if it is within 5 hours range, i will be there.
(this means up to chicago area. I love driving!)

I dont think i'd drive more than 2 hours for a meet. End of June would be cool. But maybe not enough time to round up enough ppl. I wouldn't be able to make it to a meet at the end of July. That's too close to my wedding and i'm sure i'll be very busy. If we put our heads together and come up with some ideas and agree on them by the end of the week or sometime early next week we just might be able to get a pretty good meet together by end of June. I looked at my calendar...the end of the month falls on a Friday. So July 1st (Sat) would be great. If we went with the 24th of June (Sat) that would be in exactly one month from now.

TadS wrote:Bah, Phreak... I finally drag myself to a meet and, to the best of my knowledge, you and Michael aren't going to be there. I guess I’ll never meet either of the mid-western moderators LOL. Now that I am done with the full time work / full time school bit I figure I’ll be finally able to go to meets again, so hope to meet you guys, maybe someday the Solara will actually make it out on to the road again too… anyway I am going to go grab the stuff at the store guys, see you all tomorrow. Sounds like there will be at least a couple of us there, I am kind of bummed that none of the guys from Chicago are confirmed, if any one you guys up there change your mind PM me before 10 or so, and we can convoy down 65.

Sorry bro,

We just had our second daughter last week and our first is only 10 1/2 month. So, life has been quite busy on my end.

After speaking with Tact, you guys had a decent turn out and a pretty good time. Perhaps another time.

I'll check out the pics later, thanks for sharing.

That's cool man :D. I was just teasing, congratulations btw on the second child. I'll try to get out to another meet in the future soon, not sure about the end of June though, as we're closing on our house the 15th, and taking possession on 25th. Hope to meet you in person sometime though :).[/quote]

I'd like to be able to make a meet but I am in Western Michigan. Most of Ohio is a little far besides maybe the Toledo area. A meet around there or Indiana or Chicago area would work if I am not busy.

If you're interested, we could hook up some Saturday this summer at our Engineering Center in Grass Lake (Jackson, MI). Exit 150 on I94. It's a pretty cool tour that very few get to see.
