1. Talk to your boss and get the Friday off.
2. Leave after work on Thursday with a lot of water and snacks.
3. Enjoy driving your Solara.
4. Get here around 3 in the morning on saturday.
5. Have fun with Midwest SG members for whole day.
6. Grab some late night snack and get back on the road around 8 at night.
7. Enjoy driving your Solara even more!
8. Ready to start your new week at 8:00.

Word! I'm glad we're finally getting some action with this. Make sure when you're spreading the word to let peopel know it's a Toyota event (it should be obvious because it's at toyota, but some people...) we don't want no Hondas rollin around at our meet.

No good news yet. It looks like Saturdays are NG for Toyota since they are running O/T to keep up with Camry demand. I'm still trying to get in touch with this person again.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Is it safe to say this isn't going to happen?

Not to be negative about it, I'm still all for it. I'm just going on the basis of car meets (that aren't in Cali), group buys, and other stuff like that.

Unfortunately, you are correct. A small informal meet (just a handful of cars) would be OK. I believe tram tours of the plant are still open to the public. However they are only operational Monday thru Friday. (Not very common for a meet.) Here's a link to those who might be in the area and wish to see the plant. Just make sure you call ahead.

I'll lock this since it won't be happening.

Oh, you're teasing me. That one is really easy for me.

Maybe a 2½ hour drive. Actually, I will be there on Friday with Mr Arctic Frost. It should be good weather.

I'm game for this kind of meet at anytime. Cedar Point is definately a blast. Care to set something up in a new thread?

According to Mapquest, it's less than 400 miles. (Easy trip!!)

Put in Bay island is right around the corner from Cedar Pt. It would be really cool to get a few SolaraGuys & meet up at the ferry dock on Friday afternoon and take the 'Laras over to the island. They have a great campground there where we can get a few spots together. There is some nightlife on the island. We can walk to the bars or hang out at the camp.

Saturday, get up and head to Cedar Point. Come back and crash at the camp Saturday night.

Sunday am, shake the hangover if you have one, pack up and make the drive back to where ever you came from.

If this sounds interesting, I'll start a thread and look into availability.

Sign me up. My wife is afraid of roller coasters and nobody else is interested. I LOVE Cedar Point. That sounds AWESOME. Jon.
