How about meeting up at Roosevelt Field Mall first at one of the parking lots.......perhaps the top floor of the Macys parking lot since its open and a lot of people don't park up there

Wow, I just found this thread. I'm up for going and Hooters sounds awesome. How easy is it to find the parking on top of Macy's? Roosevelt Field is a bit crazy. If we are meeting there, why not at Noon instead to allow time for people to show up before all going off to eat. That way, we could hang for an hour at most then go to lunch at 1 PM. This would still leave time for the beach afterward. With people coming from pretty far, starting earlier would probably be better. What do ya think?

Parking in the upper lot of Macy's isn't busy.......nobody parks there.

Hooter's is 5 minutes from my house and about 10 minutes away from Roosevelt Field.

Whatevaz good with me.......hopefully we're not sweaten our ballz off baking in the sun on the third level of the parking lot.........could always move it to the second level while waiting for others to stay coo and out the sun.

12 noon is coo with me to meet up........

...or just meet at Hooters instead?? This is my first meet, but no doubt it's gonna take a while for everyone to actually show up and coordinate. If we're there we don't have to worry about leaving anyone when we can just go inside. Will Hooters (parking lot) be busy at noon?

The good thing about meeting at first in a place where few cars are is that you can all park next to each other. That's good for pictures and easy meeting and looking at each other's cars. Last year we all met in the back area of a Jones Beach lot where noone else was. The Macy's idea sounds better for this reason. My question is when you get to Roosevelt Field, is it easy to find the parking for Macy's on top? How about some good instructions for out of towners coming from Meadowbrook pkwy? I doubt Hooters at lunchtime will have many spots open close to each other for a gathering like we'd want. Don't most Hooters have a small lot anyway? As far as leaving anyone behind, people can be told to be at Macy's 12-1. If they get to that area after 1, proceed directly to Hooters. Some cell phone numbers can be provided too to contact if they are lost.
