Although The Oak Pit sounds like a kick-ass idea and the roads are indeed good, I'm not going THAT far out !

Ojai is about 90 miles due Northwest of Los Angeles.

I'm really down for anywhere or anything. I know absolutely nothing about the area that is So Cal. Only places I been to as a kid was Disneyland, SD Zoo, and Sea World. And that was when I was 10 or 12. Whatever you guys think would be a good introduction to the So Cal, a good bar or something. A good fast food joint that we aint got here. I got no idea, but showin off rides in a parking lot would be an awesome start I aint never seen no hooked up Solaras in person before. I also don't have a ride, if someone wouldn't mind pickin me up from either Torrance or Long Beach area (still haven't secured an apartment yet), that would be my only way there. I'll be relying on the loser cruiser to get to work (until I have saved up enough $ for my future SC300 aka the 2jz Solara )

no canyons here but a nice fun drive along the coastline in palos verdes if that works.
