I had my heart set on the Elmhurst show and at the last min. a family emergency came up and could not make it. In the mean time I quit my job and if I don't get one between now and then I won't be able to make it to this one either. But I will for sure be there if I can.

it's all good if people can't make it...but it would be great to see everyone there. I had a great turn out for a few meets with other car owners, and I've been told from a guy in the Matrix forum that the Solara owners are big on meets. So...let's make a huge meet!

Can't make it ... work-related stuff on both days. We just moved a database from a server in Dallas to one in Sydney, lots of fallout to deal with :p Weekends are the only time we have to optimize the new server so everything works nicely during the week. Thanks for the invite, though

... that, and I don't own a Solara anymore. I kind of broke it in January I now drive a 2006 RAV4 Sport 4WD, still 4-cyl because I'd end up in jail if I bought the one with the V6 (and the insurance company would tear me TWO new arseholes instead of the one they're tearing me now)

sure thing ill be just fine, minus the fact that I have scratches on side of my car, stupid brother took my exhaust off and stuck on back my stock one with a tip he welded on (ass hole).. then no REAR tint anymore cuz i had to replace back window.. and i had to take out all my hardwired stuff out of the car cuz of some faulty wiring.. so it's just plugged int he cig lighter now.

reggie...I just realized u were at the Elmhurst show this year. I was actually there with my friends. my car wasnt ready for it. all the guys had the LTS Tunerz boards up. damn...I wish we met then. lol

Stay to topic guys. Many threads on meets have been killed by too much chit chat in the thread. Makes it hard to get to the facts.

(Jeff: A weld on tip onto the OE muffler is just fine if it's done well and makes the car look better. The only thing important is that you attend. )

You know I'd love to be there. It is my old stomping grounds. I grew up in Bolingbrook in the 70's so I'm very familier with the whole area.
