North-Eastern meet ?

I voted for "Joisy" ......we could meet at one of the tracks like Englishtown.

Another for Jersey. Most of your NYers are in south NY anyways, which would make a trip through the B&T make sense.

We got 8 meets in the last 2 summers between CT, NY, NJ, MD and VA, but none this summer for some reason.

Theres plenty of interest, but no ones oraganized one.

haha.. i live rite next town from englishtown so that would be awesome and i could bring my frineds but if this is after september 3rd it has to be in a weekend cuz im movin into school that day

New York State wins !!

Since I don't know too much about New York State...who can suggest place to mmet. I suggest to make a drag racing for some hour 2-4 hours...and after conitnue it somewhere else...I'm waiting for your ideas and best location. It would be better to be out of New York city and I think would be a must to be in the south of NY State for the other State pal.

I suggest also to make it happen on mid-September to let people the time to book the meet.

Hmmm tempting...

Thing is that cops are very particular about gatherings... But, a park would be nice, something like Astoria Park, right under the Tri-borough bridge, by the water. Its not that hard to get to from NJ, PA, MASS....

And its a strip, so you can park along the water... no need for permits, cuz its a hangout spot.

As for drag racing.... good luck. Englishtown is about the only spot I know you can get away with that at the tracks.

There's my 2 cents. lol

There are really no places that I know of in NY where you can race legally, like a drag strip, I think there is one in NJ but its insanely expensive.

My recomendation is Floyd Bennett Field it is an old abandoned air port which is now used by the sanitation department, and the NYPD as training grounds. If you get lucky you might get off a race or two if there are no cops there at the moment on one of the runways.

Other then that it is perfectly legal to have a meet there.

If you guys want to go eat somewhere after words I will have to find a place that can sit that many people that is not that far away.

how about we do this in maryland, meet around arrundel mills at the D&B around there. then go maybe to this drag track in PG or MIR. everyone get a few runs then maybe all go eat dinner together and then hit up bethesda for some drinking?

just a thought but im still down to go anywhere for this meet.

Since Maryland is not so far away from South NY and North NJ...I think that your suggestin of a whole day program is great !!

I don't mind to drive for 1200 miles again to be part of this meet !
