Are there usually a lot of cops hanging around this event just waiting to hand out bundles of fix-its?

only to the fawktards who peel out and show off at the event. just like with anything else, they wont tag you if you dont act stupid

ex of stupid: mouth off at people, do dougnuts, rev engines, take off fast, VERY LOUD MUSIC, and so on. at most events (meets and otherwise) if you keep these to a minimum they wont harrass you.

there are a few places to watch out for though

san carlos area (south of san mateo)
fremont (everyone knows cops are asses here)
miliptas (bad in 00-02 but has gotten better)

We'll be rolling with the 8 there. I just hope nobody's gonna key or mess with my car. What do you guys know about San Mateo? Is it a safe place to show up with my 8 there? I just don't want any trouble when someone messes with my ride. I'll end up in jail if I catch anyone starting crap there. :drinking:
