I think I have finally unwound enough from this year's Supras Invade Las Vegas event that I can start thinking about these things again and have a question for the Solara guys.

As you know I am new to the Solara scene. I've wanted a drop top since 2000 and picked up my very own 2006 SLE over Labor Day Weekend in 2005 (BTW: Just hit 15000 miles last week).

I've been running SILV since the beginning (10 years now). Supra guys love to race. But what do Solara guys want to do when they get together?

If you could create the ultimate Solara event what activities would you want to have?

Here is a short list of activities I've seen at other events:

Show-and-Shine
Drag Showdown
Dyno Challenge
Poker Tournament
AutoX
Drivers Education Day (open track)
Scenic Drive
Group Dinner
DB Drags (audio competition)
GoKarts
Symposium (Vendor talk etc)
Poker Run (Time/Speed/Distance - AKA Road Rally)
Awards Presentation
Keith Hart
1989 Supra Turbo
2006 Solara SLE Convertible

All of the above sound perfect.

One more thing I'd like to do, but it doesn't require a meet. When Gran Turismo comes out for the PS3, I'd like to get a SolaraGuy challenge going on. You know, on Gran Turismo, you can race 30 people simultaneously. That would be perfect for us, seeing as how we are spread all across the nation (and world). Plus no one would get hurt in a race (other than thier feelings).
