Hey everyone...alright so no one knows who I am on here. I'm from 9thgencorolla.com Basiclly...I'm known for the Midwest to set up meets and what not. Last year at the Chicago Auto Show...I set up a meet between the Celica's and Corolla's. It was alot of fun actually, and I keep gettin asked when I'm gonna set somethin up again. Sooooo...

Battle of the Imports is comin up on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 16th & 17th. I figure most people work Saturday's more than Sunday, so...Sunday would probably be the best. It's in Joliet at the Route 66 Raceway.

DIRECTIONS
If traveling to the event on I-55 Northbound:
Exit on North River Road. Go East on River Road to Route 53 (Chicago Street). Go North on Route 53 to the track.

If traveling to the event on I-55 Southbound:
Go South on I-55 to the I-80 Interchange. Go East on I-80 to Route 53 (Chicago Street). Go South on Route 53 to the track.

If traveling to the event on I-80 Eastbound:
Go East on I-80 to Route 53 (Chicago Street). Go South on Route 53 to the track.

If traveling to the event on I-80 Westbound:
Go East on I-80 to Briggs Street. Go south on Briggs Street to Laraway Road. Go West on Laraway Road to the track.

If traveling to the event on I-57 Northbound:
Go North on I-57 to Manhattan-Monee Road. Go West on Manhattan-Monee Road (through the town of Manhattan) to Route 53. Go North on Route 53 to the track

So if anyone is interested, please lemme know! Even if u dont plan on showin ur car, atleast show up to spectate or even just for the meet. But any way...let's work for a great turn out!

DEFINTELY! I've got a couple guys from my team goin too. some pretty sick cars. I wanted to be in the Elmhurst Toyota, Lexus, Scion show...but my car wasnt ready. So I hafta be in atleast one show this year. I'll start a list...if u can get anyone else interested it'd be GREATLY appreciated!

Does Skyline R34 welcome...? (Just kidding, I don't think my friend will come all the way from Chicago to Joliet by driving, may be delivered in his trailer..)

Hot import night was HORRIBLE........each year was worst then last year..

I had my heart set on the Elmhurst show and at the last min. a family emergency came up and could not make it. In the mean time I quit my job and if I don't get one between now and then I won't be able to make it to this one either. But I will for sure be there if I can.

Sorry Carollo I will not be able to make it. I will be at Hilton Head that week with my parents and gf. Thanks for the invite. If I had nothing going on that weekend im sure I would have made the show. I love car shows!
