If anyone happens to come out for this event I'll be looking out for you guys or stop by our tented pit parking area. I'll be running my car, my friend is running his AWD 2nd Gen Eclipse, and another friend of mine will be running his 06' BMW M3. Should be a fun day and I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed for good weather.

Nice!

Check out www.mirdrag.com They have directions on how to get there from Baltimore. Funny cause I'll be coming from there too cause I have a certification to go to Friday and Saturday. Look forward to seeing you guys at MIR.

Everybody who goes post up some pics and let us know what times you run. I know everyone is particularly interested in how fast Rizal can scoot Tobasco down the track, and I'd like to see more Gen 2's gettin out there and gettin track time as well.

even better! if your tires are balding it may give you better traction at the track.

Rizal is right unless you have the metal cords showing thru the rubber. The tread (sipes) in tires is for wet or dirty loose surfaces. Without the tread, the tires are lighter and grip better. Real racing slicks are ideal but balding street tires that aren't delaminating or dry-rotted beat new street tires.
