Solaraguy meet HIN 7/8/2006 (updated: 7/7/06)

How about it? a meet on the day of HIN on 7/8/2006, its going to be at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. That day is a Saturday.


We can all meet up at one place and go somewhere before going to the car show, maybe a cruise or something. I haven't decided on that place yet so suggestions would help.

We can park our cars some place nearby so we can avoid parking costs.

I will post this info on Kaizen Automotive Development forum, Toyota Revolution forum, and Importpost "Toyota" forum so we might have a really big car meet. They are all Toyota forums.

here is the meet schedule for 7/8/2006 Saturday HIN meet:

11a.m. - 1p.m. (Festival Bay Mall, Vans Skatepark parking lot)

1:30p.m. - 5p.m. (Group photoshoot, lunch at Pointe of Orlando)

5p.m. - ??? (HIN @ Orange County Convention Center)

We will meet up at Vans skatepark at 11 A.M. because most people are awake by that time, so we meet up at that place, talk and take pictures, then we cruise up to Pointe of Orlando and go from there.

Adjacent parking is available in a 2,643 space, five-story parking garage. A pedestrian bridge easily connects the garage to the complex's second-floor entertainment level

You know I'm all over this. Hopefully we can get more than just you and I at this one this time. It was a pretty good time. Unfortunately with us Florida boys we have to start the thread early.

As far as parking goes I say we pay a little and park in the parking garage like we did last time, that way we have security watching our rides and we can take some pics again.

You know I'll be there, I don't think I'll be quite prepped to shwo my car in HIN but I'll definitely be proud to display it with a few others in a parking lot or something. I should have the 100 shot on by then. I'll be giving rides for a dollar, ha! J/K. But I'll be there, we should work on getting a few more florida guys to go. I'll talk to my buddy who has a solara, and there's a few more guys on here who could go too. Like the new guy from Boca.

I talked with the people from KAD (Kaizen Automotive Development), a couple of people are really interested in going to the meet, and I think I can get a lot more of them members to join as we get closer to that date.

IT all dpeends on how much I have done with my car really by then as to whether or not I'll show it. IT'll also depend on how late you can enter and how much it costs.

it is pretty expensive to show your car at the show that is one of the reasons why I decided not to show my car at HIN car show.

I will definitely be there to join you all at the meet though.

It's only $25 to see the event and $55 to register your ride. But before you purchase any tickets to the event try to find some coupon codes to save you some money. I'll look later on for some. I was able to save $5 a ticket last time. It's not much but it helps.
