little update:

1 down: axel failure @ 90mph on a sweeper
Wheel locked up and ripped off the entire hub and bearing
Wheel/tire almost got away from the car but the over-sized TT Supra brakes held them on while we plowed into the dirt. Tow truck called and now Camry is in surgery @ nearest dealer in bakerfield.

Major mechanical failure on last lap=$1300.00
Last trackday and great footage with cool friends like Simon and Jeff=Priceless

Wow, John!!!! That sucks, but I am glad you guys had fun overall!!! I was hoping for my camry to be done by this time around, but I'll definately go next time with you guys.

John, I'm back home. Once I got everything straighten out too, i will start pulling the videos out...

it was fun....well until the end...
The ONE & ONLY Fully Loaded 2006 X Avalon Limited with Body Kit in CA = Special Limited Edition + First 2GR-FE rebored the throttle body (i think...)

im starting to wonder about simon and his "stock" avalon. haha, for 6 laps, he couldnt keep up for the first 3, but the last 2, i couldnt keep him off. Kinda embarrassing considering my car was whining and being loud while simons car was quiet enough to listen to classical music to.

Simon, i think you got a lot of skill. Time to upgrade to a new car for the track. IS-F anyone? hehe

Milt, just us know when the car is done. The my camry enjoyed its last day at the track and i dont regret any of it. Next time ill have a new toy ill be bringing out :)
