Anyone want to meet @ Panama City Beach, FL?

I'm driving down there to arrive on the 21st and leave the morning of the 28th. (Nothing like a nice 1000 mile drive to put you in the mood for a SolaraGuy meet.) Perhaps a meet on Saturday the 22nd?

I'm sure there are plenty of places to meet in the area.

Just let me know. I'll be with the in-laws that week so I'll be needing an escape!!!

Rossman, you're joking, right? How can you not know where Panama City is? I can understand if you didn't know where Opa Locka is, but Panama City???

Unfortunately, it's quite a distance from you. It's up on the panhandle. Unless you like road trips as much as I do.

I never realized how big Florida is.

ohh ok, yeah I've never been up in the panhandle thats why I didn't kno where it is. But thats too far of a drive for me.

Again, if anyone wants to hook up, just let me know. I'll be checking SG while drinking tropical drinks on the beach. ( GEEK ) LOL

I'm halfway down right now. I'm going to make a pitstop at NOPI sometime around noon today.

Have a nice trip down there buddy !! It seems that you do it in 2 days. I think it is the good way to do it ! because 16-17 hours trip (+1 or 2 hours for eating and gas)...I did a 625 miles trip to washington 2 weeks ago...I thought it was a long way ! hehehe but our car make it looks like it is not so long !!

daaaaaaaang that is quite a drive... i'd go man but i just got back from FL and i dont have any time off for a few months. If you take a detour through ATL i'll meet you, hehe.

ahh... panama city...girls....long strips packed with tight cars and partyingass people! at least on spring break thats the only time i go.

next time im going to rent and roll and renting some 22's and stuffing them on my car for the week lol

That would be awesome. Perhaps on the return trip? (Next Friday?)

EDIT ** I drove through Atlanta on Friday (7/28.) MY GOD THE HEAT!!! Stuck in traffic at 3:30pm and the car temp said 105°F. My in-laws were also in traffic and they had the same temp. I would love to have met up but I really needed to just keep heading north. Next time I'm heading through, perhaps we can meet on Peachtree or in Buckhead (somewhere easy to find.)

On the way down, I did stop by NOPI. Yikes!!

It was big wing hell. I was sorely disappointed in the store and the knowledge of the staff. I did get to check out some Sparco seats first hand and come to the conclusion that they felt cheap. (Saved me big bucks so it was worth it.)
