1st) Take it easy on the guy. OK, he was not familier with the history of certain members of Socalara.
2nd) Not all of the members of Socalara like to start trouble. This rep was developed mostly by one or two persons who are watched carefully.
3rd) Now that we've acknowledged the misunderstanding, it may be a good idea to hit your EDIT button on the original post and change the subject to Southern Cali Meet (or something like that.) I can do that for you but it's not in my nature to edit free speech.
4th) Since this board is about communication, we should all do what we can to make our messages understandable to all. On the flip side, since we represent diverse cultures AND languages, please be patient and try your best to understand the true meaning of what is being communicated and not how well it is written.
Back to the topic, my recommendation to getting a meet started is to meet up with one or two persons first. Pick a local event and meet up there. After that, pick another event or local hotspot. The events will keep growing. Remember, it's really hard to coordinate a gathering of people you're never met before. Don't get discouraged and start out small.
Lastly, TAKE PICTURES!! LOL We love to see these kinds of events.
