I've been lurking around the site for some months now, picking up info. Finally decided to get off my ass and join. I have what you see below and love it! I got in in June 03 from a dealer friend who just got it in trade from a "little old lady school teacher who only drove it to church on Sunday" and I swear he's telling the truth, because the car is perfect. Slowly working to build on the car as funds become available.

Welcome David! That 99 Diamond Pearl is a beautiful platform to start with. Lower it, tint the windows and get a set of wheels and she'll transform! Have fun, it's nice to have another member in the family. -JoeB

Welcome...looks the windows are already tinted. That car looks like it has so much potential...nice that you got it loaded...i wish i had the SLE :-? If funds are an isssue, as they are for me, I say just take it one mod at a time, and decide which path to take...performance or appearance. As stated before, suspension is the best mod as it works for BOTH performance and appearance..same with exhaust. Welcome once again and be sure to read the FAQ's and search! Enjoy.

Thanks, guys! Yeah, tint was the first thing I had to do, being in such a hot climate. I hope to get some more photos pretty soon, but being a grad student occupies alot of my time.
