I traded in my '99 Pontiac Grand Am with no options other than tape and auto transmission (4 cylinder), for a 2001 Solara SE V6. It's so nice having power windows, doors, power driver seat, moonroof, cd and tape, and a 200 HP V6 engine. I'm so freakin happy.

I had been about 5-6 grand upside down in my Pontiac for a while and hadn't been able to trade it in the last 2 times I tried. But, a guy I work with has a friend at a local Toyota dealership and he really helped me out. My payments went up about $50 a month but it's so worth it having a car that you really like. It's like a review I read on it - "Lexus luxury without the Lexus price".

Anyway, if you can't tell, I love my Solara.

I'm sure you'll find the quality to be on a completely different level, too. Grats on the new ride and welcome!
