recent purchase in KC

I recently replaced my totaled '96 es300 w/ 120k with a '99 solara v6
5spd w/ 74k. Ended up with some spending money and a car that's more
my style. The toyota does have a few more rattles, and the build quality
is just not what they put into the lexus, but I learned to drive on a
manual, and I feel like I'm home again.
Couple of questions:
Is the wiring harness for the upgraded JBL speakers the same as the
standard?
If I don't plan on doing any engine mods for the next 3 years, would I
benefit from an upgraded clutch kit?
