Just bought my Solara. what next ?

http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/2583023419.html

Just picked this up today for $2,250. I think it was good deal? Seller had paperwork on brand new transmission for $2375 10k miles ago plus all service records from pep boys.
I'm looking forward to tinting the windows. But I need to figure out what else is worth upgrading ? I'm open to any and all suggestions. I've just been enjoying the drive so far..hope to become a regular on this forum.

welcome on the forum. Car looks clean, you got a good deal there even though the mileage is high. Don't worry about the engine, the 1mz is a beast. I see that you already have a cp-e intake and Tein lowering springs, which is pretty cool. Here's what I would do. You don't have to listen to me lol

1) take off anarchy sign. wtf?

2) sell rims and get better looking ones

3) lip kit

good luck

car looks good dude nice color very rare, my personal opinion i would trash those tailights, stock ones look much better. Getting better wheels. fix up that front grille, getting painted color of car if not all black. oh and lower it more!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to SG! Love the Color ;). Based on your PM I didn't realize you already had the Renova grill. Looks like you already got a head start! Get that painted! I also agree with everyone else. put the stock tailights on and get some better looking wheels.

Judging from the lower section of the car it looks like the seller may of had a TRD kit on the car at one time since it looks like there is some leftover tape around the bottome and the rear center section is attached. Check and see if they still got it or what may be left of it!

Welcome!,

I'm liking the car. Seems like you got it with a couple rare mods (renova grill, and black corners). Like others have mentioned, ditch the ugly wheels in favor of nicer ones. If you can get another TRD kit on there, that'd set it off really nice too.

I like that white 5th gen maxima that was sitting in the driveway too :)

looks like a OEM grill with mesh. i can tell for sure....notice the top near hood. once you cut up the stock one it will sit like that if you dont do a few adjustments after cutting it up. i know because i made my own renova bootleg lol.

corner lights are nice
intake and battery not bad

eliminating air vents for tv screen...bad!

overall not a bad deal...you did good. i would get a new radio trim and air vents and trash that screen
remove sticker on trunk and touch up paint the grill and you should be looking much better
