Hi everyone,

I am new to the site and to the Solara world. I recently picked up a 1999 Toyota SLE V6 Auto (I bought it off my dad, I am a college student) and got rid of a Chrysler PT Cruiser because it was just too unreliable. The Solara has 201,400 miles and my PT had 151,000, so I know I am taking a little bit of a gamble, but my family has always had Toyotas, and never had any major problems with them. For the last couple of days I have been reading through the wealth of information that is available here, and since I usually do all my own car work, this site is a GREAT resource!

I look forward to talking with you guys and hopefully soon enough I will be able to help someone on this site that needs it.

I'd trust a toyota at 200k more than a chrysler at 150k :) Welcome
