Greetings, from my basement.

I've been browsing this site for the last few months and finally decided I should contribute something, since it's such a great source for any Solara owner. I purchased my 1999 Solara 2 years ago, after a deer wrecked my first car ('94 Impreza) and I've loved the darn thing ever since.

My forum name? I decided last year that I wanted an "over-the-top" sound system, and I purchased an old civic to go ahead with my vision. But then I thought, why put all this money into a crap car worth 500 bucks? So I sold the civic and started installing my dream sound system into my Solara! :D I'm maybe 30% done right now, had a few set backs, but I hope to continue, learn more, and share my successes and failures here.

I've also done a few minor modifications/upgrades to the car, and I'm not done yet.

Here's some old outside pictures from last year, just cleaned her up, and it started getting dark out. And I know a lot of people here strongly dislike the Alteza taillights, and I'll admit, they're pretty cheaply made, but I like the concept and overall look they provide.

Is that fairway green I spy? Great color and those altezas don't look bad blacked out like that.
Welcome!
