Sup guys! 2001 solara here

Hey guys,

Ive posted on some sections here already, but now that I just put up my new avatar I decided to finally introduce myself lol. You can call me Kevin, and I am from New Hampshire. lol yes some people actually live here... I am 17 and just bought an 01 solara SE V6 a couple weeks ago for $2700!! Runs beautifully, the only thing is that its automatic :( I would have really preferred a manual, but hey you take what you can get when youre 17 and dont have too much money :p

I've already made some minor mods. HID lights as you can see in my avatar... 3000K for the fogs and its supposed to be 8000K for the headlights but in real life they dont look blue at all so I think they might have shipped me the wrong ones lol...

I have 2 12" kenwood subs in the trunk... running a 500 watt rms amp.

Added some led interior lighting also. Will post pictures of everything soon.

Anyways this place is great!

Welcome aboard!!

Not a lot of people your age have what you have, and it is really cool that you bought it yourself at a great price.

Thank you very much! I know, I am very proud of what I have. I have been saving up since I was 8 to buy "a sweet car" when I grew up :p

Nice to have you aboard man! I didn't know a damn thing about cars until I found this site. You'll find everything you need to know about it and if not ask any of the experienced guys and I guarantee they'll be able to tell you what you need/want.

Thanks! Don't know much about cars either but have already learned a lot from just having my own car plus installing a few things with my friends help.

There you go. It becomes an addiction  I never thought I would get into cars and spend half of my hard earned money on one, but now I can't stop haha

Welcome, KingKevin. I was your age when I discovered New Hampshire. I went to college in Massachusetts. I love the "Live Free or Die" motto of your state. 40 years later I'm still living free. :D

Hey Kevin! Whereabouts in NH do you live? I'm right on the NH/MA line, I haven't seen anyone on here yet that's in my area.
