Hows it going i bought my 1999 Solara v6. it was totally stock with 80,000 on it got it for $6000

ENGINE MODS:

JP headers

megan racing drift spec cat back exhaust with cat eliminator pipe

throttle body spacer

cold air intake

ngk wires

ngk plugs

zex 75 hp nitrous dry shot

NOS purge kit

only run royal purple oil and filter.



TRANSMISSION:

F1 racing stage 2 clutch

RALCO short shifter and bushings



SUSPENSION:


TIEN S-TECH springs

TRD front and rear sway bars



BRAKES:


Brembo rotors

braided brake lines



EXTERIOR:


Street glow underbody lights

TSW Trackstar rims

tinted windows

Federal 595 supersteel tires 235 45 r17



car now has 97,000 miles ive spent 3000 getting it this far wanting to do a full custom turbo setup willing to pay 4000 for it

Ive dragged it three times with it tuned and the nitrous hitting just right i ran against a modded gsx awd eclipse beat him by 2 cars at 13.5 at 105 mph had a little clutch slippage but got my flywheel turned and fixed that problem ive done all my own work on the car to cut down on shop bills. by far biggest pain in the ass was the headers took 5 hours and lots of knuckle busting lol... did my own clutch was pretty simple tuned it myself just bought supra 440 cc injectors and a apex SAFM system cant wait to hook up....

i am lookin for good insight on adding some power without that spendy supercharger that only pushes 4.5 with regular pulley so any insight would be awesome thanks alot looking forward to talkin with all of you

Eclipse GSX runs 13-14 on a stock form.... are you sure it was modded....

Welcome! Gabe (trd4life) here is working on custom superchargers, that are much larger and output more hp even on a small pulley, may be worth a look. but car sounds nice so far!

i would kill for that power. this is the first toyota ive owned i have to say the 1mzfe is thee strongest motor ive ever ran and has the best cooling system

Anyways back to my DSM answer stock AWD 2G has only 210hp and makes 13-14s. Modded AWD DSM will rape you.
