Just though I would finally introduce myself. I have been a serious lurker on this forum for quite a while and thought that everyone might like to see my car. Some of you may have seen it on ToyotaNation because i hang out there a lot, been a member since 2005.

Well i've done quite a bit to the car in last couple months. I was able to source a good bit of TRD parts that i have wanted ever since i bought the car about 6 years ago.

I have recently installed:
-TRD/bilstein struts
-TRD/eibach springs
-TRD strut tower bar (which i got into a bidding war over on ebay and ended up paying way too much but it was rust free and i had to have it)
-TRD lip kit
-K&N filter
-Painted the calipers pink
-Tranny torque rod (which i pieced together myself for about $30)
- 20% window tint

Already installed:
-TRD quickshifter and TRD shift knob
-Injen intake
-Alpine head unit and infinity Kappa components

Now for the pics

Anyway, thanks for checking out the car. In the near future I plan on installing the OBX shorty headers and y-pipe, Megan Drift spec exhaust, CPE tuneable intake, supra rotors and caliper brackets and some new wheels. Also maybe some coilovers, I really would like to go a good bit lower. I would also really like to find a TRD lip spoiler. So if anyone has one they are trying to get rid of please let me know.

Oh yeah, and I plan on washing my car...very soon haha.

Thanks again and i'll see everyone at the meet in MD next month

You know there is a TRD Camry that works in the same center as I do. I always see it the car is white and everything is OEM TRD from factory. It has that lip spoiler your looking for and the rims are TRD.

WELCOME and good to have you POST with us!

Yes! WASH the CAR! 8)

Far too much to gain from a "clean" impression with all your mods and those yet to come! I'd also get a plastic bag over the intake filter and use an engine clean kit and give it a good wash-down as well! It will RUN BETTER when it is clean! :D

(Hey, TRUST me... a little "psychology" goes a LONG WAY in how our cars perform and more so, how GOOD we FEEL about driving and showing them!)

Keep posting pics and progress! SC, HERE YOU COME!

Simple Green sprayed onto the warm engine will make it look soooo goood.
Just spray it on and rinse it off with a little water. :sweet:
Trust me, I'm a technician.

Yup that's exactly what I'm looking for. I wish my car came from the dealership with everything already installed, especially the lip kit. That thing was a real pain in the ass to put on, a lot harder than i thought it would be. But i want that spoiler so bad, it would set the car off so much.

As for cleaning the engine, I didn't really think it was that dirty. But, then again, what do I know. The exterior of my car is terribly dirty so I'm sure the engine could use a good cleaning and maybe, someday some boost!

Thanks again to everybody for the warm welcome!

Yeah, your engine is actually pretty clean.
But it's soooo nice to have a car that's clean...

So it is, indeed! Now... DETAIL IT!

I find that Honda Cleaner/Polish spray (from motorcycle shops) works FANTASTIC for EVERYTHING under the hood! Spray it all over, and wipe it thoroughly with blue shop towels or such.

You are right, it's not bad at all. Just, make it POP easily with little work, and the pics will really show it in a different light! :D
