Hello everyone!

I am new to the forums and just bought a black 99' Solara SLE. At first I thought solaras might be a little girly but after I seen some pics on this forum I quickly changed my mind! The car has 116,000 miles on it, but is in reasonably decent condition. Its got some rust because I live in Ohio, but hopefully it will last awhile anyway. So far I love the car and and am very happy with the purchase. On the hour and a half drive home from the dealership the steering wheel started vibrating pretty bad, but only for a few minutes then it stopped. I'm guessing it just needs an alignment or something. It could have been because the tires are pretty old too i dunno. I drove a chevy malibu for four years until I totaled it last month, so I am pretty pumped to finally have a nice car!

I don't know what mods to do to the car. I will probably tint the windows and get wheels at some point. I'm not too concerned about performance, its got enough power already! :D

Heres my car:

Welcome!!!

You have a nice looking Solara, any plans for modifying it?
I'm in WV, there are several guys on here that are in OH.
Maybe we could organize a mini meet this summer guys?

Anyway, welcome to the best forum on the web. :sweet:

Oh and nice bass.
Trust me, I'm a technician.

I'm sorry, Adam, but for someone whose last name is "Doll," this strikes me as funny. Please don't think I'm making fun of your name either, because I'm a little sensitive about people calling my car "girly." :D
All in fun, Guy. Welcome to SolaraGuy.

Hahaha thanks everyone! As far as mods go, I am planning to get it tinted this week, and I might take the Toyota lettering off the back. I might take the sunroof deflector off too, im not sure yet though. I also want to put a K&N filter in sometime.
