hey everyone I have a 2002 Solara SLE coupe with 180,000 miles, I bought it about 6 months ago and havn't had a single problem yet. I really want to get into the hobby of motifying cars but I have absolutely no idea what im doing when it comes to mechanics.

So yeah thats my intro I guess.

Thanks

Welcome, icefire3526. With such high mileage,
just make sure the basics are looked after before
you start modifying. Check your oils, fluids, battery,
tires, wiper blades, lights, filters, and so forth, and
you will stay ahead of the curve. Good Luck to you.

you think its a waste of money to mod it since the milage is that high?

new oil, fluids are good, idk about the battery or how to test it its most likely the original but ill look it up, new tires, good wipers, lights work, but filters and more mechanical parts I have no idea...the check engine light did just come on though
