Just got a Mint Condition Black 1999 Solara SE V6

Postby DSM_Lara » Sat Jan 30, 2010 1:59 am

Hello fellow Lara guys, I just bought one very mint 1999 Black Sand Solara with only 59,625 miles  on odo when purchased back in December 19, 2009. Car was originally price at $7,795 and final cost of the vechile $6,100. Not bad eh? This car was being sold at a Toyota Dealership so, I was very surprise of the price I got. Body has no visible dents or scatches. Exterior and interior in superb condition (also you should see under the hood, your jaws will drop). Everything in the car works and is all stock. It is a Auto so I will miss the stick a little. I couldn't be any more happier since it's a Toyota 8) and I think I just got a steal. I bought this car because I was looking for a reliable car that won't break down.

Anyways I named my account DSM_Lara because well... We know where the word "DSM" came from (aka Daimond Star Motors). Yes, I own 4 cars total. My other cars which are 1991 Eclipse GSX; 1992 Eagle Talon TSI; 1997 Eclipse GSX (to see these car photos go here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3127403). I am addicted to these cars. Pretty much when I was growing up the 1991 GSX belong to my mom so, that car been in my life since then. While my DSM's are down I will be using this as my DD. Pictures will be posted as the years go by.

Right now the plans TRD body Kit aka Molly designs, Rims (Black with red lip), get windows tinted 15%, and of course a drop. Just the basic stuff for now. Most of my money will be going into the 97 GSX. Sorry Lara fans but, don't worry I'll take good care of her.

I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Nice and clean, all the side/rear emblems can be shaved with no holes behind them. I loved my TRD kit but thank G-d I never got a flat or I would have been screwed (too low for factory jack). A nice TRD muffler would finish off the look nicely as well.

I think the Konig Unknowns would look good as well on your car. this was my Solara replacement after the Solara was totaled. :(

Thanks you guys, I just tinted her so, I'll post pic with the tints later on. Also, anyone knows where I can find a Renova Grill besides Ebay. Just a reminder I live on Maui so it's not easy.

Hey, I just noticed we have the same tires. Bridgestone G019?
Am I right? :D
