hello guys I am purchasing an 06 sle convertible and was concerned about the rear window visibility. i went on ebay and bought a panoramic rear view mirror attachment hopefully thiws will solve the problem .any other suggestions would be appreciated

Welcome to SG. I don't think there's much you can do about the visibility, seems like you've got the best idea for solving it though.

easy and fun solution: keep the top down :)

i think the only thing that the special mirror would do is be able to see out the side windows as well, but i could be wrong.

Rear window visibility & headrests are your problem - not the mirror!

Get some small fisheye mirrors for your sides and learn to use those. :up:

a moderator, with a convertible gen2 , who has had the exact same problem as you


...because i was about to say: the gen 1 doesn't really have that bad a visibility prob.....

We just drive with the top down all the time. You get very use to using the side mirrors. Fisheye mirrors are a great idea, thanks!!!
