This is the previous owner of a solara "woa_its_j3ff" checking in.

I used to be a part of this site but I was gone for many months due to my grandma being sick over the summer, and later suffering a stroke. My mom and I flew back to Taiwan and I was there for quite a while. I had to stop school since family came first. My mom then got laid off from work due to being "overpaid". I then had to take on the task of working 3 jobs and still going to school full time.

I've been in touch with GrkAvalon for quite some time and my solara has since then been parted out locally. I no longer drive the solara due to it's high mileage, leaking headgasket, and the need for something new. I also got engaged on November 1, 2008, and am getting married April of '10.

I wanted to apologize first directly to SleeperSolara and JakeC for not being in touch for the longest time. No excuses, my phone was dropped in a sink at friend's house and I lost all my numbers, I only could salvage numbers that I had saved on my simcard, which was only family members in general. If you both could, please PM me your numbers again so I can get in direct touch with you.

I also want to thank the SG community for inspiring me to make it thus far with my previous car, it wasn't my first car, but it was different. I got plenty of negative reviews of it, as well as positive, the growth of the car made me grow as a person as well. I miss the SG community very much since I am a die-hard Toyota/Lexus owner. You guys are different, from many other forums - but that's a great thing. You guys are knowledgeable, insightful, and sometimes even a bit tough, however you are all as I remember, a great group of people.

To finish parting out the car, I only have my trd lip kit up for sale which I have posted in the for sale. Everything else has been off limits (cpe intake, rsb, suspension, exhaust) to others who long ago called dibs and/or already purchased.

Since then I got in a car accident on April 30 (day before my birthday) where my fiancee and I were slammed into by complete surprise. The car comes out of the body shop by today or tomorrow, and hopefully shall see better days, luckily her nor I were hurt.

It's great to see the SG community is still growing and that there are still a few OG's left on here. Hope you all don't scare all the noobs away? :) I've been handling a lot of stuff lately with family especially, and insurance issues from the accident, but hopefully within a short time all this stuff will be taken care of. I just wanted to post up on here to let some of you know that I haven't forgotten about you.

Thank you SolaraGuy, for some great memories.

- Jeff

Good to see you back man. Sorry for all the tough times you've had to go through. It's all the experiences in life that makes us grow and learn and there will be better days.

I still lurk here often but the scene has changed from what I remember. Just like you, it's the people that make you stay or drop by every now and then.

Best of luck and no need to be a stranger on the site.

Hey everyone,
Thank you for the warm welcome.
I think maybe some of you guys are confused, my solara is no longer with me, it's being parted out.
I no longer actually even drive a Toyota :(
I sort of miss the feeling, but it's time has come, my current care is adequate for now..
May move onto a 4-door in the later future? who knows..
Many of you guys have done some great upgrades to your rides, I sure have missed out in the past half year or so huh?

Keep up the amazing work everyone.
