Moving Westward (or to the left coast)

Hello. I own a 1999 Solara. Pretty. Have had with minimum work needed other than the dent in the driver door some touron put there.

I am looking forward to moving west and notice that someone is organizing picnics for Solara nuts. What a concept. Many Solaras, One place.

Where out west are you moving to? SoCal is probably the most concentrated area of Solaras. Hopefully you will be able hook up with one of our regions. Keep an eye on the events section for info.

I spent a lot of time in Ithaca. My sister did her grad work at Cornell. I am from Rochester. It is absolutely beautiful there.

YOUVE BEEN TO ITHACA!?!?!? FANTASTIC! hahaha its such a small (but beautiful and sometimes boring) town, thank god we have 2 colleges. its really nice to "meet" a fellow upstate ny'er. rochesters a fun city, quite a bit larger.
your sis chose a great school to enroll in for her grad studies. i go to the less prestigious but still good, ithaca college.
and no, that portrait is from a scene in goodfellas.....

ithaca is a smal little hippy college town. home of cornell university and ithaca college... population of only about 70k. its been called the san fransisco of the east coast, in that, its very liberal, we used to have trollies (still have the tracks) steep roads, free lovin' types, etc.... and actually ithaca was the FIRST HOLLYWOOD! i mean back before they had sound in movies. i dont believe we were called hollywood... it was just the movie capitol of the country...
we are currently the fastest growing city in the country and on the list of "the top ten places to get away from the rest of the world". if youre ever in upstate ny, visit!!
lol sorry, this is probably much more than you wanted to know.

our slogan is "ithaca is gorges".... because we have lots and lots of gorges...get it? our tallest being taller than niagra falls...


the main cars youll see around here are either volvos or subarus. though, the toyota hybrids seem to be taking over...

Welcome out West! San Diego beats the living SH!T outta the LA/OC area - you're gonna love it down there.

And yeah - don't get too excited - people just don't show up at the meets/BBQs out here... unless there's prize money or a trophy involved.
