hi guys..
been a member for a while and check in almost daily but never posted anything so i hope im posting this right.

sadly the neighbour's wife decided to back her chevy avalanche into my solara :( (apparently it was dark out and she didnt see my car) and she did quite some damage to my right front quarter panel and took in a part of the passenger door so now im sending my solara to the bodyshop!
any advice on things i should keep my eye on that might have got damaged that the guys at the bodyshop might not see?
it drives fine except that it pulls a little to the right. i kept an eye out for any fluid leaks and didnt see anything.
any advice?
thanks

make sure all gaps are 100% even
use a magnet on pieces you know should be metal and make sure they stick
knock on new pieces to make sure they are not bondo in ( youll hear a diff between OEM good panels and bondo cheapo job panels )

And last but not least

Post in the correct forum :P

^^ What he said. Also, body shops usually only do the basics to get your car cosmetically in shape (hence the name), but most of them aren't able to do alignments, even if they are able to replace the damaged parts (e.g. the strut tower, shock assembly, control arm, steering knuckle, etc.).

Alignments are actually very complicated and needs special equipment to properly pull off, which it is a process that not even the Haynes manual tells you how to do; just how to professionally say what's wrong with it to an alignment shop.
