Hi...my name is Keith and I live just outside Hartford, CT.
I just bought a 2006 Solara SLE Convertible. I'm sure I'll have a bunch of questions about the Nav system and accessories...so be prepared! LOL

I can hear the cellophane wrappers coming off and virgin bindings being cracked. No wait, that's the sound of my school text books at the end of the semester.

Congrats on the purchase! Welcome to your new home on the net.

So what color is your new ride? Any plans for it? (Wheels, TRD parts, etc...)

Plans for upgrades...

Postby kblanch1 » Fri Dec 15, 2006 6:00 pm

It is black with a black top. Yeah...gonna be a bear to keep clean (especially up here with all of the salt on the roads, etc...) but it looks sharp right now.

I am certainly going to put a backup camera in it. Weird thing is that my local dealer had NO clue that they made cameras that plug right into the nav system. NOT a good sign...but I'll probably get the Eclipse BEC105 and give it a shot myself. If it gets too tricky to run the wires...I'll go to an aftermarket place nearby to have it installed. If it is plug and play like I've read...it shouldn't cost me TOO much.

I look forward to digging through the site to see what other modifications are available.

Thanks again for the warm welcome!

Black with Black top... very slick with tons of potential. Well worth the extra cleaning duties.

Hmm Was it Hartford Toyota? If so, it doesn't surprise me!
