Hey, I just bought an 2004 Solara SLE (4cyl, but it feels quick). So far I'm loving it!!!!


Background info: I used to drive a 2000 Camaro Z28 (induction, shift kit, exhaust, et cetera), but I fell in love with the Solara's roomy but well placed interior. Camaro was bad in snow, bad in gas, bad in rain. You could hear this car coming from down the street. Anyways, I look forward to getting to know you all!!!

Mods are funny like that. I didn't plan on modding my camaro, but after seeing what members of z28/LS1 tech did to their cars I couldn't help myself ;P

I'll try to get some pics up later, it's a pretty clean looking vehicle and drives like a dream.

wow, definitely going from one extreme to the other. I hope you don't get the crazy speed/mod bug for your car because you won't find much support but you definitely got a nice ride and hope you can enjoy it! welcome!!

I used to own a 91 Camaro Z28 I think with a 305 edelbrock dual exhaust I loved the car but I can't use it on winter either.....anyways, welcome!! :D

You're gonna love it. My first ride was a '68 Couger. It was always in the shop. I sold it and bought a 1970 dodge charger 383 magnum 4bbl carburator. My popularity increased by 1000 % w/ that car, it did drink gas like a drunken sailor. That needed a valve job, transmission, and most everthing else. After that I bought a datsun b210 and its been all Japanese since then.. Good luck with the new ride, welcome and as they say .. "LETS SEE SOME PICS" :)
