I have taken my 2002 SLE to the dealer 7 times for the rear window catching on the clip of the back seat. It made a loud popping noise every time it caught until about a month ago when it shattered. The dealer says they can not duplicate the problem [no wonder without the glass to catch]. They said it must have been from an outside source and will not warrantee. I notice the new models have a substantially smaller window! Any others experiencing problems?????

HOLY! That sucks! I have not had any problems like that, just a broker defroster that I swear is from the top scraping on it.

Best of luck man!

If you took it in prior to it breaking then there's a track record for that same service complaint.

Call Toyota Customer Experience Center 800-331-4331 IMMEDIATELY and ask to open up a complaint case against the dealership. They will take down your story, dates of service, etc... they will see it through!

Good luck!
