What a great forum! I look forward to being able to find much info here.
Here's a pic of our new 04 Solara Convertible:

I know there is much to search here, but if you had just bought this Solara what would be the first mods on your list? We will not go nuts with mods, probably just some of the commonly recommended ones. Thanks

Welcome to the site!

The first two mods I'd do would be dropping it and throwing on some new rims to complete the look of the car...

For handeling improvement, the TRD Rear Sway Bar is a must (esp for convertibles)... The TRD Front Strut Tower Brace is also cheap and you can install it yourself, so pair it up with the RSB for a pretty killer combo.

It all really depends on what you want! Do you want to improve on looks, performance, handeling, sound, etc...? What's your goal?

Anyhow, nice ride!

Welcome :D

I'd say the TRD rear sway bar and TRD springs.

Like theprodigy79 and Astro said...

go for the suspension setup

TRD Springs (will drop the ride 1'2" Front and 1.4" Rear - Very confortable setup))
TRD Rear Sway Bar (RSB)
------------------
After

TRD Muffler. Sound better and from my own experience really add some few (2-4) hp.
TRD Front Strut Bar (FSB) almost just for looks
-------------------
A must to have. The only serious performance part for the 3.3L V6 ! It is not just about performance...listen a clip from Down2Thec

What is the SE Sport Kit? Thanks for all the ideas so far.
How about swapping out the stock headlight bulbs with some Wagners (SilverStars never lasted very long in my 4Runner)? Any idea what bulb I will need?
My rig: Black 99 4Runner SR5 4WD. Wifes new car: Black 04 Solara SE Convertible.
