Hello all
i discovered SolaraGuy.com earlier this week and have made some posts already, but i have yet to make a formal introduction.
i drive a Silver 2002 Solara SE V6 5-spd, Injen intake, Greddy EVO, 17" SSR Competitions on Yokohama AVS ES 100 215/50/R17's (not in the winter tho!), tinted. for now that's it, but i'll be installing Tokico struts with TRD springs come spring, and hopefully several other goodies!
i love my car, but there's still a lot i need to learn about modifying it. so far a lot of the stuff i've read on here has been very informative and mouth watering.....esp the headers!! i'd like to eventually get into SCCA autoX racing....but we'll see about that.
anyways, i just wanted to introduce myself to you all and wish you all happy driving, but its hard not to have fun when you're driving a Solara!

Hehe. you need a TRD rsb, Whiteline fsb and upgraded springs and struts first! :D If you want better than the upgraded spring/strut combo, go with JIC Magic SF1 or if you are really hardcore about it...FLT-A2 (the only fully adjustable REAL coilover available for the Camry platform!). :D

Welcome to Solaraguy! Good luck with the SCCA thing. Not many people are willing to shell out the bones to make a Solara competitive. Let us know how that goes.

well, it wasn't that hard........
i got the car on 6/27/02, and a week later ordered the injen intake, and greddy evo from an auto salon in N. new jersey. at the time, i had no idea of the backorder on those things. i got the intake in like a week and the guy at the shop said i should expect the exhaust in another week. well, i called every 2 weeks to check on it and it ended up coming in around the end of october! i knew it all sounded too easy, but it was well worth the wait, the sound on that thing is awesome.
