Hello all!

Just discovered the site, and look forward to learning alot from the forums. seems like a knowledgable group..

I have driven alot of other cars in the same or similar catagory, and this is the most pampered ride I have ever had. I am permanently in love with this car, and now I can't dream of owning any other vehicle. It's a '99 SE V6, 5spd, tan interior.

I really plan on keeping the car as stock looking as possible, it is such a beautiful design as it is, dont want to mess with that. I am, however, interested in a short shifter. I read a few articles on here about the companies that make them, but my question is this: What is the difficulty of doing something like this myself? (someone obviously lacking mechanical knowledge)

At some point I'd like to change the color of the dash lights, but I'll wait and learn more later...

Nice to meet everyone! Look forward to learning how to make this dream on wheels even better.

a couple of quick snaps today before work:

Thanks for all the quick links and FAQ's!

I have plenty of time for learning.. Cutting out all other priorities except for this car..

I live in Raleigh, NC

I took it on I-40 today, and I have to say I feel safer at high speeds in this car than any other one I've driven.. quite a change from my Acura Integra that I drove before this.. Instead of the engine screaming @ almost 4000 RPM @ 70mph, this kitty purrs somewhere between 2 and 3.

Again, glad I found this site, and thanks for the warm welcome.
