I just jumped in today after finding this site from Michael T's links at Car Domain.com.

I have the dealer doing some simple mods prior to delivery, but my first mod will be Michael T's upper/lower chrome grills with my Black Pearl Emblems.

My wife also had a 2000 Solara and last July traded for a 2004 Solara in the Cosmic Blue Metallic. She won't be doing any mods (I might for her though) but I will be tweaking mine some.

Glad to be here and look forward to getting some info and help on mods.

Welcome. Wow, so you will have TWO Gen2 Solaras? I think that is a first on this forum. What color 2006 one are you getting?

Thanks everyone. I have been reading the site pretty much all weekend since I found it. I went through all 100 Gen 2 Solaras at Car Domain.com and tagged some into favs folder so I can refference them later for tips, tricks and ideas.

Since I live in Upstate NY and the winter driving is harsh on cars I will be making the mods slowly. But i gave up my SUV to get this baby so it will be worth it that much I now.

Yeah my wife loves her Gen 2 Cosmic Blue and mine will be the Arctic Frost Pearl. Surprisingly she was happy I am dropping my Sequoia for a dup of hers.
