Hello all:

Been lurking here for a couple of months and have found a lot of good info. Have a 2006 ragtop (SLE Black) on order. Expect delivery in 5 weeks. Come from the German world. Have an E46 ragtop (wife's) and a 98 SLK. Chose to go the Solara route for several reasons:

Have an 04 Camry V6 SE. Like it, generally impressed, but my son is about to get it. Damn kid got the first year college grades I told him he needed to.

If I get a new E46 for myself, guess who gets the new one and guess who gets the old one.

Getting rid of the SLK because it is too small for me. Can't even get a beach chair in it.

Will be asking a few questions on the appropriate forum.

Quite a few i would bet. Makes me wonder if some of the solara's i run into on the road ever come here. Sometimes I don't want them to since im sure someone would go off on me. hehe.. Drove a ways with a silver gen 1 running next to me for quite a while. Was kinda fun in open areas cause they would keep up with me zipping around. Also had a trd logo, so i am guessing they were SC. No body kit..
