I used to have a Solara 2002 now I have the Avalon touring 05
its the only sporty edition for avalon 05
plus its the only car that can have black exterior with black interior
and gray and silver highlights for details

The new Avalon is really nice. And black on black...exactly what I would get. Avalons a great deal too, you get alot for your money.

Im sure youll be very happy with it, congrats on your new ride.

Take some pics sometime. Ive been tryin to get my friend in one since hes looking for a large AT FWD Sedan, but he wont do the Avalon because its got the "Toyota Buick" history. Most of the pics online are of tan interiors and dry exterior colors. Throw me some pics and help me steer him away from the TL and sell another Toyota.

One more thing - You cant get the limited black on black?

no you cannot get black on black only the sporty suspension touring you can----remember there are 4 models
xl, touring,xls, limited----there used to be two models xls, xl

I wish you guys put some-thing for avalon owners now that toyota
recoginizes that Avalon can be seen by a younger audiance
and the things you can do with the engine is endless. :lol:

Aw really?

Is the black interior you cant get?
The limited has some really nice features....Thats really a shame.

I just looked it up. Its the charcoal interior thats only on the Touring, which is the only option. You have 3 interior color chips for the other models, but the darkest you can get is graphite.

And a tip, dont double click the submit button.

One click is enough.

This is a Solara forum, so I doubt theres going to be an avalon forum. The Camry forum is here because the Solara came out of the Camry, using the same frame, engines, and many parts.

I think the Avalon use to share with the Solara that it came out of a Camry platform, but I think the 2005 has its own platform, so it doesnt really share anything with the Solara.
